Job Purpose

Under the general direction of the Warehouse Manager, a Warehouse/Delivery Worker is responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving and processing shipments, picking and packing orders, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. They will assist in safely delivering products to customers and branches. They must work in an efficient and safe manner.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Receiving: Inspecting deliveries, checking for damage, and ensuring accuracy against invoices. Sort, label, and store items accurately in designated warehouse or yard locations. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse areas. 
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup or shipping. Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage or delays. Report damages and defects to supervisor. 
• Inventory Management: Inform supervisor of inventory errors so records can be corrected to help in maintaining accurate and appropriate levels of stock. Help perform cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock. 
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate OSHA safety required equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, power and manual jacks, and other material handling equipment. 
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations, and reporting any safety concerns. Remove or report hazards immediately. 
• Delivery: Load and unload truck. Deliver materials following all traffic laws. Inspect deliveries, checking for damage, and ensuring accuracy against invoices. Complete the required documentation for each delivery, obtaining receipts, payments, signatures, and/or taking pictures. Maintain vehicle supplies, record pre-and-post- trip inspections and inform the warehouse manager of any problems. Comply with NSI Fleet Program. 
• Teamwork and Communication: Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. 
• Compliance and Safety: Follow all OSHA and NSI policies and procedures, including safety guidelines. Participate in all the required training. 
• Warehouse Operations: Loading and unloading trucks, organizing stock within the warehouse, and using necessary equipment to move goods.

Duties and Responsibilities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Assist with opening and closing the showroom, ensuring cleanliness of the space, including bathrooms; take out trash and water plants as needed.

The SPLASH Showroom Intern duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the showroom. The SPLASH Showroom Intern will support the Showroom Manager and Showroom Sales Consultants through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The scope of the job includes communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Duties and responsibilities

• Create a positive and lasting first impression by professionally and enthusiastically welcoming and greeting our clients, guests, designers, and tradespeople. Offer a warm and welcoming smile. 
• Qualify their needs by asking, “What brings you in today?”. Clarify their needs by asking additional questions as needed, such as, “Is this your first time here?” or “What project are you working on?”. 
• Direct and/or introduce each guest to the appropriate salesperson and/or area of interest. 
• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests by identifying area throughout the showroom, including our welcome center, coffee bar, and counter areas. 
• Buy time appropriately and professionally when a salesperson is not available yet or in the time the guest needs them. Create conversation or small talk with the guest about their project or inviting them to browse. Offer literature and gather lead information to provide the salesperson at a later time.
